NEW YORK, CUNY TV, The Television Station of The City University Of New York, is proud to announce that  web series Twilight Talks has been picked up as a Television series, and will screen its first episode on Tuesday,  January 22 at 10:30pm, with conversations with painter Ellen BerkenblitAndré Aciman, CUNY professor and writer of the acclaimed coming-of-age story Call Me by Your Name; and artist, photographer, and filmmaker Laurie Simmons. The show is hosted by independent curator and writer Kevin Moore and produced by Emmy Award winning producer Wilson Reyes.  In reference to the show, Moore says “Now more than ever, with democracy seemingly under threat, I think every perspective on the world is important. Artists, writers, and other creative people often have surprising bodies of knowledge that can shed light on today's problems.”

SHOW DESCRIPTION: As the sun sets at the end of a New York workday, the mind transitions from specific career tasks to the broader, cloudier precincts of social issues, mass culture, and politics. Twilight Talks is a series of conversations with arts and culture professionals about their work and unique perspective on contemporary life. Born out of the new political reality— post-election 2016— the talks are held at twilight overlooking New York City's Hudson Yards.
