Chicago, IL – March 15, 2017. – For the third year in a row, RUIDO FEST returns to Pilsen for Chicago’s 3-Day Latin-Alternative music festival, and this time with its most diverse lineup yet.  This year’s headlining acts include the legendary Norteño band Intocable- performing with special guests like  Alejandro Marcovich (ex-Caifanes guitarist)Puerto Rican reggae juggernaut Cultura Profética, Mexico City’s favorite Spanglish rock band Molotov, and indie singer, songwriter darling                   Julieta Venegas.
This is the first group of artists that is being announced for the 3-day festival that will unfold on four stages, including two, yet to be announced, new performance stages for 2017. Last year’s event doubled in size over its 2015 debut, with the festival featuring an unprecedented line-up of over 50 bands, including Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, La Ley and Maldita Vecindad, among others. For the third edition of RUIDO FEST, the promoters look to broaden the festival’s reach, while maintaining a lineup that matches the diversity of their audience.
Rock Sin Anestesia, Riot Fest, Star Events and Metronome, the producers behind RUIDO FEST, confirmed that ticket pre-sales - announced on February 10 - exceeded all  sales expectations, considering that none of the confirmed artists of the line-up were announced. Max Wagner, one of spokesmen for the event, expressed that “the results of the pre-sale are based on the reputation and accolades the festival received during its first edition.”
Chicago is world leader in music festivals, but none are quite like Ruido Fest.  Founder Max Wagner assures, “We are very appreciative of the support of the local and international community towards RUIDO FEST. We are always looking to reward the faith that the fans show in us by striving to bring in the best talent, and provide opportunities for artists that don’t receive a lot of chances to perform in this country.  We have a ton of announcements that will be coming out over the next couple months with more bands, classic album plays, more entertainment options, new stages, new food options, new beverage partners…everything is focused on making things more convenient, enjoyable and fun.          Our goal this year, and every year, is to provide the best experience and best value possible for            our loyal fans.”
